CBS: Bush Memo Story A 'Mistake'

A "Rather" lame excuse of an apology from CBS: Bush Memo Story A 'Mistake' . The big question has yet to be answered. Where did these fake documents orginate from? There will be no peace until that question gets answered. Dan Rather should be fired or he should resign.

When it does get answered there better not be a return addess of "Kerry's headquarters." If that happens, this campaign will be over. My bet is that they came from Max Clellan!

You can't be serious.

I can't? What part can't I be serious about? Is it the Max Clellen thing? I hope I'am wrong but we will just have to wait and see. It will all come out eventually. Why won't Bill Burkett reveal his source? "He originally stated he got the documents from another former guardsmen." "Now he says he got them from a different source." But, he wonn't reveal the source. You put two and two together and see what you come up with. "There have also been media reports of him having senior-level contacts with the Kerry campaign."

I'm sure your not talking about my opinion that Dan Rather should resign or be fired? He absolutely should. CBS is big media and it is not opinion media. It is suppossedly "Fair and Balanced" dealing only with FACTS.. Their time to investigate a story is before they air it, not after they supply the nation with errorneous information.

Incidentally, I think Kerry and his campaign should be ashamed of themselves for parading Max Clellen around the way they have been. They are using him plain and simple.

What possible evidence do you have that Clellan is involved at all? I'm talking specific evidence. If you don't have any, now would be the time to admit you're a rumor-mongering neocon.

And if anyone has used Clellan before, it's the Republicans who slandered Clelland in 2002, comparing him -- a Vietnam War hero -- to Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.

Well, first of all if you reread my post and don't add anything that might be in your mind to it, you will find that I said phrases like "My best bet is that it is Max Clellan." Or, "I hope it's not, so we will just have to wait and see." I IN NO WAY SAID IT IS MAX CLELLAN! It is my personal belief that it could be him. So, as I said before, we will just have to wait and see.

This is my blog where I write my FEELINGS and my BELIEFS! I provide links when I am quoting someone else or information I have obtained from another site. You certainly don't have to agree with anything I believe. I pretty much keep my personal opinions to myself and post them on my blog.

Instead of just critisizing me and my beliefs why not add something to what I say. Obviously, there were FAKE documents presented to CBS. They didn't get there on their on, so where did they originate from? Sooner or later thats the question that must be answered..

BTW, did you know that people who resort to name calling very quickly get labeled as a "Troll" and find themselves banned from most peoples blog? I really am interested in others opinions and why they have them. But I draw the line when they can't do that in a respectful manner. Consider that your warning!

Those documents probably came from Karl Rove. Think of the double twist sick thinking that required. Kerry gets blamed, the focus shifts from the TRUTH of the Bush "service" in the guard to the authenticity of the documents. Classic misdirection, worthy of the sick political magician that Rove is. The bottom line that is lost is that Bush is a draft dodging pampered rich kid (how many dollars did it cost to train him to fly?) who contributed nothing in return. Kerry went, he served honorably and then came home to speak out against a war that was wrong. He didn't accuse all participants of war crimes, but war crimes there were. Now how is Bush escaping blame for the Iraq prison abuses? He is the "commander in chief", the buck stops here.

Anon, your missing a big point. Most people don't care what Bush did back then. Even if every thing in those fake documents were ture, I don't think you would see much reaction by way of numbers from it. Most of us know that Bush wasn't the "ideal" person back then. We also know who he is today and what he is capable of. We know he is a strong leader. We don't know that about John Kerry. When it come down to it that's what this election is going to be about.

Other than having told you so over and over, what leads you to believe George Bush is a strong leader?
